Hawaii - Slidell High Style
Does anyone remember the name of this dance? We remember it was put on by the Interact Club and it was one of the best dances of our High School days - so many people were there. Can you believe the photographer was able to get all of us in this picture. Look closely, we are sure you will recognize several faces.
-Look how well-matched Monica is with her red shoes, red shirt and red sunglasses....wonder if she is still well-matched???
-The shark in front of Curtis' face looks like it is floating in mid-air - could Danae be holding it???
We are having so much fun finding old pictures and going through all the good memories. Do you have any to share with us?

Kim, you were pretty well matched yourself with those blue socks on with your Keds. And I know you are still all put together well. I even see a few panthers in your photo....Lauren and Christy.
Yes, I did notice that. What in the world was I thinking - apparently I wasn't. Northshorians were always honing in on our parties :-)

It will take a little while for the word to get out (think in terms of months)--but I swear it will. Just keep posting with confidence and hope. Oh, and keep in mind that you'll have many more readers than you'll have commenters. You might never know the full scope of your "reach."
But I personally believe that a blog is the very best way to rebuild the community of your class and to generate excitement about the reunion. This I believe. And you're off to a fantastic start!
