He Had Me At Hello..........
(1995-French Qtr. Festival)
(1995-Puerto Rico)
Let’s see, where to begin…
Well, I attended LSU for a year. I was then talked into taking off on a whim and moving to Florida for the summer of 88 to work at Disney World by my dear friend from kindergarten, Michelle Fields Pierce/NHS-87'. While this was an interesting & fun experience, it was by no means a smart move as I made the mistake of not going back to school until years later. When I eventually did return, I did quite well and thoroughly enjoyed it. Unfortunately, in the last two years of high school and first year at LSU, I focused more on my personal life than my education and my grades showed it. Sad but true. Anyways, it was during this time that my now husband walked into my life and swept me off my feet. Yes, my Prince Charming! He definitely “had me at hello” with his bandana, Cuban accent, ripped up jeans and falling apart mini-van. Ok, I know this is cheesy but who cares, high school was/is all about being cheesy.

We married in September of 97’. We have 4 wonderful children. Three are from my husband's first marriage. Christian is 21, Daniel is 19, Alexis is 13 and our son together, Gabriel, is 7.
(1998-Our soon to be family of 6. I was about to pop......)
My husband is a Pediatric Specialist and practices in St. Tammany Parish. I managed his practice and continued going to school until I had our son. I slowly cut back my hours at work as I realized just how fast they grow up and I sure didn’t want to miss that.
(2000-Gabriel @ 2 yrs. old)
So now I am a “Stay At Home Mom”. I continue to help my husband with his medical practice as well as his entrepreneurial projects. I am the Family CFO, if you will.
(2005-Daniel's Senior Grad. We don't have any current "formal" family photos, so this one will have to work.)
I can’t wait to see everyone at the reunion events!

You know I can’t end this without nagging you to email us at shsclassof1987reunion@yahoo.com with your updated addresses & phone numbers. Oh and some updates from you all with a few photos would be nice. Write something short & sweet or something long & lively. We don’t care-just send SOMETHING in please!!!!!!

BEAUTIFUL!
Heidi,
What beautiful photos! Of course, that's easy since you have always been beautiful! I almost cried looking at the black and white photo--wow!
I also wanted to let ya'll know that I clicked on the link you posted just above the comment line and it took me to a yahoo screen---bizarre..not sure if it's my computer or if there's an extra something in the link you typed in. Just wanted ya'll to know.
Sorry I'm not a SHS grad writing in to give you an update, but I did tell Paige Felder Henderson about it this weekend (she lives here in the Dallas area) and she was excited to take a look and may have some connections with some of your alumni.
Ya'll take care and hope to see you during the reunions!
Michelle Fields Pierce
